The conference “The Sustainability Crisis: Environment, Energy, and Economy”, By Antonio Turiel, invites the university community to reflect on these issues in a critical and rigorous manner.
The meeting will take place on Monday, October 6, from 13:00 p.m. to 15:00 p.m., in the Auditorium of the Management Building of the Fuenlabrada CampusThe activity is open to students, teachers, and staff. Due to its educational nature, awards will be given. RAC credits to those who attend.
Mr. Antonio Turiel, popularizer and scientist, author of the renowned blog The Oil Crash https://crashoil.blogspot.com/), is one of the most influential voices in Spain in the analysis of the limits of energy resources, the decline of fossil fuels, and the transition to a sustainable energy model. His interventions are characterized by a combination of scientific rigor with a strong communication ability, making him a leading figure in debates on sustainability and the economic, social, and environmental future.
