EIF students visit the Data4 Data Center

Businesses technocratic y Data4 They organized a new edition of “Touching the Cloud” for students from the Fuenlabrada School of Engineering. This event is designed specifically for university students who want to learn from the inside how a state-of-the-art data center works and the digital services that make the cloud possible.

A group of EIF students from the fields of Telecommunications Engineering, Software Robotics, and Biomedical Engineering accompanied the EIF professors. Eva M. Castro and José Centeno. The initiative aims to bring technology closer to future professionals, demonstrating in a practical way the critical infrastructure that supports the digital world: from the physical and logical security of a data center, to the services of cloud, hosting, housing y backup used by companies in all sectors.

They learned firsthand about the importance of data centers in the digital transformation of companies. They interacted with experts who shared their experience in one of the most fascinating sectors.

Students were able to "touch the cloud with their own hands" and understand the strategic role data centers play in our digital society.
