Last Monday, October 6, the conference “The sustainability crisis: environment, energy and economy” took place in the Auditorium of the Fuenlabrada Campus, given by Mr. Antonio Turiel, a popularizer and scientist recognized for his work in the analysis of the limits of energy resources and the transition towards a sustainable model.
The event generated considerable interest among students and faculty, registering high attendance and participation and becoming a space for collective reflection on the challenges posed by the current energy and environmental crisis. Throughout his presentation, Antonio Turiel offered a rigorous and critical perspective on the relationship between the environment, energy, and the economy, emphasizing the need to rethink development models in a context of finite resources.
