In the first session, we had the participation of prominent health professionals from the health system of the Community of Madrid. Experts from the Hospital Universitario del Sureste shared their vision on innovative technology in health from a humanistic and care-based approach, highlighting the importance of the fragility of patients and promoting the prevention of their dependency. During this session, the issue of legal aspect that accompanies these technical advances, reflecting on the legal and ethical implications of their implementation.
La second session He focused on more technical and research aspects, with more than fifty attendees from different faculties and schools. Attendees were able to learn about projects developed by students from the university, focused on the development of predictive models using clinical data. The day concluded with a Roundtable where all attendees discussed the practical applicability of these models, their reception by healthcare personnel, the need for integration of multidisciplinary teams in technical-healthcare environments and the importance of greater funding for the development of safe AI-based models.
