LIASA: A scholarship program to develop your skills in Leadership, Innovation, Partnerships, Sustainability and Action

2030 is just around the corner and it is time to run. In the drive for the transformations necessary to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, contributions are important in all areas, not only from volunteering and activism, but especially from the professional field.

At LIASA you will be able to improve your personal development (get to know yourself better, learn to prioritise and manage your time, etc.), train skills to know how to participate in collaborative environments (communication, managing alliances and diversity, etc.) and delve deeper into global challenges and how you can respond to them as a future professional. A programme where you are the protagonist: although you will be accompanied by experts in each subject, what you take away depends on your reflection and participation. 

Global challenges require using collective knowledge and talent in technological innovations and in social, economic and political organization, and doing so at a pace and on a scale that will require professionals who understand the complexity of the world and who relate to it in a different way. 

All organizations committed to sustainable development – ​​companies, public institutions, social organizations – demand leadership that is in line with the challenges they face, based on the ethics of care and collaboration. 

LYASE is an enzyme. An organic molecule that acts as a catalyst for chemical reactions, accelerating the rate of reaction. Like lyase, we are looking for student catalysts who are accelerators of change. It's time to run and we are looking for you. 

When/Where: 

• 25-26 October: interuniversity training meeting (UPM-URJC). Madrid
• November-April: 10 training sessions. One every two weeks (except December and January). EIF URJC.
• 4-6 July: interuniversity meeting (UPM-URJC). To be determined, outside Madrid.
