International in nature, each conference is organised in collaboration with a university, and this time we have taken the baton from the Degree in Fundamentals of Architecture at the EIF. The organising team was made up of the EIF teaching staff Ignacio Vicente-Sandoval González and Irene Ros Martín, the FAH professor Raquel Sardá Sánchez and myself (EIF).

The JIDA'24 was held in the San Carlos Hospital building in Aranjuez. More than 140 teachers from different Spanish and Latin American universities attended and six roundtable discussions were held with 30 presentations. The conference was broadcast on streaming and have been hosted in the URJC repository.

The inauguration was attended by César Cáceres Taladriz, Vice-Rector for Transformation and Digital Education and Artificial Intelligence; Raquel Sardá Sánchez, Vice-Dean of Campus, Infrastructure and Laboratories at the FAH; and David Casillas Pérez, Academic Coordinator of Experimental Teaching and Teaching Innovation at the EIF.

The URJC, through its degrees in Fundamentals of Architecture and Landscaping, is in the top 3 of the universities that present the most communications to the Conferences, which shows the interest of its teaching staff in incorporating innovation and maintaining excellence in teaching.
