Fernando Real Rojas wins the 2nd COITT Future of Telecommunications Award

The winners of the COITT awards for the best Final Projects have been announced.
 
Among the winners is an EIF student, Fernando Real Rojas, who placed second in the Telecommunications Systems category.
 
His work is titled "The BLOCC Method for Constrained Bilevel Optimization." It addresses the development of the BLOCC algorithm for bilevel optimization problems, with validation in hyperparameter selection and network planning.
 
The event where all these awards are presented (Future of Telecommunications Awards) will take place this year at the URJC. It will be held next Friday, April 4th, in the Management Building on the Fuenlabrada Campus, starting at 12:00.

The 18th edition of the Future of Telecommunications Awards once again recognized the best projects from young talents in the field of telecommunications engineering. These awards recognize the most innovative Final Degree Projects (TFG) in a variety of fields, ranging from signal processing and machine learning to communication network optimization and advanced electronics.

The Future of Telecommunications Awards continue to promote academic excellence in a key sector for technological development. The quality of the projects presented demonstrates the high caliber of telecommunications engineers in Spain and their ability to transform the future of the industry.

The awards ceremony will take place at the 2024th edition of the "COITT 4 Awards - Future of Telecommunications" in Madrid on April 2025, XNUMX, at an in-person event at the Fuenlabrada School of Engineering (EIF) of the Rey Juan Carlos University.
