The Madrid Book Fair opened on Friday, May 30th, featuring two presentations by the UStand project, in which faculty and students from the Fuenlabrada School of Engineering and the Faculty of Arts and Humanities participated.
Next to the Fair information booth (366), there is the Madroño signing space, One of the student proposals last year, which this year took shape, including furniture designed and manufactured by students from the Degree in Comprehensive Design and Image Management. Students from the Degree in Fashion Design were involved in the design and creation of the banners, which represents a fantastic collaborative effort among our university's students.
The vinyl on the central office booth was created and drawn by the students and is used as a tribute to the writer Carmen Martín Gaite with her book Little Red Riding Hood in ManhattanA girl walks through the Book Fair grounds with the proposals they created during the 4th Architecture and Circular Economy Conference. Each proposal features a QR code that, when scanned, displays a virtual reality view of the proposal displayed in the park itself.
These projects were made possible thanks to funding from the Madrid Book Fair, the Vice-Rector's Office for Research, Innovation, and Knowledge Transfer, the Vice-Rector's Office for Students, the Fuenlabrada School of Engineering, and the Faculty of Arts and Humanities.
