IBERICAS V, CULTURAL, HUMUS OF CULTURAL INITIATIVES IN THE FIELD

Written by COMMUNITYMANAGER, COMMUNICATION

The Madrid-Quintana venue hosts the V edition of IBÉRICAS with the presentation of the research project Cultural, Humus of cultural initiatives in the countryside with the intervention of the artists Alexia Sera and Hadriana Casla around the image of Iberian rural spaces.

IBÉRICAS V, Humus-Humanae directed by professors Gema Pastor Andrés and Diana Fernández Romero, aims to contribute to thinking about contemporary culture that is fixed on the earth and the links that humans establish with it. The exchange of views of two artists and researchers from both Portugal and Spain, Alexia Sera and Hadriana Casla, allows us to dismember the substratum from which we come and the one we inhabit, build, devastate, preserve...

Álex Piccione, Alex Levoski and Esther San Vicente bring us closer to Culturarios, humus of cultural initiatives in the field, a research initiative that proposes different ways of establishing artistic mediation as a key piece in the cultural programs and projects that are developed in the field forming part of the informal network El Cubo Verde that brings together more than 150 initiatives.

A wooden structure is the exhibition support from which the 11 booklets in which this research process materializes, in which knowledge, forms of mediation and symbiosis with the humus of various territories, are hung, raised and lowered. New rural imaginaries, Cultural, is the name of this installation that invites you to enter, to look, to read, to browse, to understand ways of approaching cultural mediation in rural areas. The immersion continues with the presentation and projection of the audiovisual Red Difusa, a choral film about The Green Cube directed and edited by Hadriana Casla.
