Processing Workshop for Creative Projects, Data Visualization and Multimedia and Interactive Design at FCCOM

The workshop will take place at the Fuenlabrada Campus on June 4 and 5.

On June 4 and 5, the Processing Workshop for Creative Projects, Data Visualization and Multimedia and Interactive Design. This workshop will make it possible to learn about the applications of framework open source Processing, with enormous potential for the development of creative processes in the field of multimedia and interactive content design. 

El framework It is used for different types of projects due to its interdisciplinary profile: it is used by engineers or programmers, but also by artists, designers and people who are experts in different areas of communication, such as the field of information visualization or the development of interactive content for different applications. The workshop is part of the line of activities organized by the FCCOM Immersive and Interactive Communication Laboratory, and the main teaching is given by Professor Mario Barro, from the Faculty of Arts and Design of the UNAM (Mexico), with the collaboration of other teachers from the Faculty of Communication of the URJC. It is aimed at both students (bachelor's, master's, doctorate) at the URJC as well as teachers or researchers, as well as professionals from different sectors and areas of knowledge. Also to all those who are curious about learning tools of from software with creative applications.
 
The workshop has a duration of 8 hours, being 6 hours of workshop plus two hours of dedication to the delivery of a project. Undergraduate students who participate in the workshop will receive 0,4 ECTS. The rest of the participants will receive a certificate of attendance.
 
will be taught on June 4 and 5 from 10:00 a.m. to 13:00 p.m. in room L3008 of Laboratory 3 of the Fuenlabrada Campus.
