Manuel Durán, winner of the Clinical Medical Research Award from the Royal National Academy of Medicine of Spain

The Royal Spanish Academy of Medicine (RANME) has just announced the winners of its Annual Awards. The aim of this competition is to publicly recognize the work, dedication, achievements, and careers of Spanish medical professionals, as well as those who work to raise their profile. Manuel DuránProfessor at the FCS and current Vice-Rector for Relations with Hospitals and other Health Organizations, has received the award for his work "Patterns and indications of intraoperative nerve monitoring usage during thyroidectomy and parathyroidectomy in Spain: results of a national survey of endocrine surgeons"
