The Faculty of Psychology at the University of Salamanca recently held a 12-hour training course for teachers of the Psychology and Occupational Therapy degrees, focused on the development of the OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Assessment), an assessment model that allows for the objective evaluation of students' professional skills.

The activity was led by Miriam Alonso Fernandez, coordinator of the Degree in Psychology; María del Carmen Martín-Buro García de Dionisio, coordinator of the ECOE in Psychology; and Sergio Serrada TejedaThe coordinator of the Occupational Therapy Degree at Rey Juan Carlos University led the training. During the session, they shared their experience in planning, designing, and implementing this type of assessment in both degree programs. Approximately 40 faculty members attended the session, participating in a training program that combined theoretical and practical content to learn how to design and organize an OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination). Topics covered included the general procedure for implementing the test, the design of the different stations, the assessment systems, and the organization of the evaluation panel.
