Posted by Francisco G. Esquer

The project, promoted by the Institutional Chair of Animal and Society Research at Rey Juan Carlos University, directed by Nuria Maximus, has received the award for Best Applied Intervention in the Health Context at the 5th Edition of the Awards of the Chair of Humanization of Health Care.

Huellas de Colores is an international milestone, as it is the first program to incorporate in a structured, continuous and evaluated way dog-assisted interventions within a pediatric Intensive Care Unit. https://catedraanimalesysociedad.org/la-catedra-institucional-de-investigacion-animales-y-sociedad-de-la-urjc-celebra-su-decimo-aniversario-con-un-nuevo-reconocimiento/
