3 FCS doctoral theses awarded for their research on pain

In the context of the 22nd Congress of the Spanish Pain Society, recently held in Vitoria Gasteiz, 3 doctoral theses defended at the FCS have received the Juan Antonio Micó awards for research on pain:

• Best doctoral thesis on pain in basic sciences: Marina Sanz “Pharmacology of neuropathic pain: biomarkers, in vitro and in vivo of novel cannabinoid compounds"
• Best doctoral theses on pain in clinical sciences:
  • Yeray González Zamorano “Characterization, evaluation and treatment of pain associated with Parkinson's disease”
  • Silvia Di Bonaventura “Effects of therapeutic education on pain intensity and BDNF levels in patients with chronic pain”
