Training with the da Vinci Robotic System in the Experimental Surgery Operating Room of the Veterinary Unit of the CAT of the URJC

The training was organized for public hospitals in Aragon 

 

On June 21, July 12 and 14, training and experimental surgery sessions were held in the operating room of the URJC CAT Veterinary Unit, organized by Abex Robotic Excellence. Surgeons from the Miguel Servet Hospital and the Lozano Blesa Clinical Hospital in Zaragoza participated in different procedures with the da Vinci Xi robotic system, putting into practice different techniques in various surgical specialties: esophagogastric, colorectal, urological and gynecological.

The possibility of training in these advanced robotic surgery techniques, as well as practicing different procedures on an animal model, with different state-of-the-art instruments, among which endostaplers, robotic vessel sealers and immersive 3D vision stood out, has resulted in a notable advance. in the continuous training in minimally invasive surgery of these magnificent professionals.
