"Be part, be you"

“Be part, be you”. With this motto, the world community of occupational therapists celebrates this year its International DayThis day was created with the aim of promoting the profession of occupational therapy internationally. This year's motto is a way to promote power of diversity and inclusion, to build a better world.

La World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOT) defines Occupational Therapy as "a profession that deals with the promotion of health and well-being through occupation. The main target of occupational therapy is to enable people to participate in the activities of daily living. Occupational therapists achieve this outcome by enabling individuals to perform those tasks that will optimize their ability to participate, or by modifying the environment so that it enhances participation."
