The professor of the Faculty of Health Sciences has been a member of the society since 2007, while doing his post-doctorate at the prestigious University College London (UCL) under the direction of Dr. Alasdair Gibb (gibb-alasdair | UCL Division of Biosciences - UCL – University College London).
The Physiological Society elects members of the society as representatives in Universities around the world with the aim of being a link between the physiological community of the Universities with the Society.
The Physiological Society It was founded in 1876 and has included such famous physiologists as Alan Hoddgkin and Andrew Huxley or Ernst Starling and Ann Silver, among others. For any questions about the Society (membership, workshops, congresses, etc.) Francisco is the contact person.
