Professor José Manuel Delfa de la Morena organizes the Theatrical Improvisation and Pilates Monitor Courses

La university extension is a window to training throughout life, incorporating specific activities in health or other transversal subjects related to the performing arts, physical activity or scientific, social and historical culture. 

In this context, the teacher Jose Manuel Delfa de la Morena, from the Department of Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Rehabilitation and Physical Medicine, organizes two courses of great interest to the university community. Registration is open until December 3

Theatrical improvisation course

Theatrical improvisation is a scenic discipline based on principles that encourage the development of different social, work and life skills, such as active listening, acceptance, adaptation to change, empathy, leadership, teamwork, effective communication and assertiveness. In the changing world in which we live, it is becoming more and more necessary to practice and master these skills. 

Place of delivery: Psychomotricity room of the Lecture Hall II of the Alcorcón campus.

Start and end date: from 11 to 14 January 2022 from 15.30:20.30 p.m. to XNUMX:XNUMX p.m.

Pilates Methods monitor course Soil for physical conditioning and functional recovery

The Pilates method has proven its effectiveness in the physical conditioning of the human being and in addressing certain disorders of the musculoskeletal system based on postural correction and global work of the entire body through muscle contractions and stretching. It also has a notable psychosomatic component, improving the well-being of the individual. Due to the positive benefits it brings, it is increasingly in demand in society and it is for all this that the training of students in this method is necessary.
