We present this novel written by Javier Bardón, Professor of the Department of Psychology

The novel, which has been published this week, can be purchased in physical and ebook format and can be requested at any bookstore nationwide and on the main electronic book platforms.

We leave you here the synopsis of the novel provided by the author Javier Bardon:

Jesús Abad, Suso, is an idealistic and passionate social worker who, as a result of 15M, joins a newly minted party and presents himself to the 2015 municipal elections as a member of the Somos Alcalá candidacy, made up of people who, like he lands in the political arena with very good intentions but lays.

However, his illusion begins to truncate on the same electoral night when, after the success of obtaining six councilors, he understands that, if they want to govern, they must do so hand in hand with the PSOE, one of those parties of "the caste" of which they had reneged so much during the campaign.

The novel tells, through intertwined fragments, the experiences of hundreds of anonymous people who threw themselves into politics in a troubled period of our history, the second decade of the s. xxi, with an economic and social crisis in the background.

Some of them rose to positions of power. Others lost hope or collapsed along the way. For many it was an eye-opening experience.
