Posted by FMR

This is an anti-stigma action that has been carried out at the URJC

El Psychosocial Rehabilitation Center and the "Carabanchel" Day Center, managed by Good Samaritan Foundation, have come to the Faculty of Science of Health of the URJC to carry out an awareness-raising action within the subject of Occupational Therapy (hereinafter OT) in Mental Health of the Degree in OT.

On March 21, 2022, this rapprochement experience between future OT graduates and people served in mental health services. The action made it possible to adjust certain stereotypes and reduce the stigma surrounding mental health. Participants felt recognized and excited about the opportunity to share and discuss their experiences.

The anti-stigma action, which has been carried out intermittently in recent years, assesses the possibility of maintaining collaboration with the Rey Juan Carlos University.
