The awards of the Chair of Humanitarian Medicine-ASISA-URJC are awarded

These awards recognize research in the field of Humanitarian Medicine and Public Health

On March 24, 2022, the Chair of Humanitarian Medicine agreed to award the prizes of the 2022 call. 

El award for the best thesis presented during 2019, 2020 and 2021, in Spain, in the field of Humanitarian Medicine and Public Health, with an economic endowment of 3.000 euros went to Mr. Manuel Colome Hidalgo, for the thesis entitled: Inequalities in childhood immunization coverage in Latin America and the Caribbean: Ecological-analytical and temporal trend study.

El award for the best scientific publication of the year 2020 and 2021 related to humanitarian medicine and public health, with an endowment of 2.000 euros, was granted to Ms. Cristina Galvan for the post titled: A facility and community-based assessment of scabies in rural Malawi. One was granted aid for the scientific dissemination of research results in humanitarian medicine and public healthica, with an endowment of 2.000 euros Prof. Gil Rodriguez Caravacfor your research on: Adherence to hand hygiene in orthopedic and trauma surgery. 

Lastly, they were awarded two scholarships for the best medical records of the URJC to take a course at Harvard University, the cost of this activity will be assumed directly by ASISA. The awardees were: Carlos Carazo Casas and Antonio Javier Torres López.
