El December 19th 2022 the teacher Carmen Gallardo Pino he said goodbye, along with his team, to the entire university community. Attendees were able to enjoy a celebratory act with live music and agape.

The Dean took advantage of the occasion to make her farewell speechIn which thanked to all the effort made to take care of the institution and work in an interdisciplinary way. Fill actions and activities with light and color carried out in the Faculty of Health Sciences has been one of the purposes of this Dean. This leitmotiv has allowed provide warmth and closeness in a period of great difficulty and uncertainty, such as that caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Memory betrays us and the passage of time makes us forget that, very recently, we had to change our way of working, relating to each other and seeing the world due to the health situation. Even today the masks in certain environments remind us of everything that happened, but despite the difficulties we have managed to adapt and normalize teaching, research and care activities. We have reconquered joy and we have defended it vigorously and respect for students and patients.

At this point in which the Dean of the FCS and her team say goodbye, they will allow me the license to speak on behalf of everyone to thank and recognize your work.

Thank you for trusting us, for showing vocation and not ambition in the management of the Faculty of Health Sciences. Thank you for allowing professionals from different disciplines and profiles to work on equal terms for and for health sciences degrees. And of course, thanks to all the people at the Faculty of Health Sciences for supporting us.
