On October 26 and 27 to celebrate the International Open Access Week, the University Library of the Rey Juan Carlos University organizes two round tables 

To do this, we will have researchers from the URJC who are experts in climate justice, and the Library will also participate, commenting on the actions that we have developed to support Open Science research.

Wednesday 26 October, intervention of Carlos Horacio Lozano Ascencio, head of the University in the area of ​​Journalism, participates in the High-Performance Research Group in Mediation and Communication of the Rey Juan Carlos University and in the Teaching Innovation Group in Communication, Opinion, Media and Crisis, which will tell us about the contributions of the Climate Change Communication Observatory.

Thursday October 27, intervention of Susana Galera Rodrigo, holder of the University of Administrative Law, coordinator of the High Performance Research Group on Energy Transition and Climate Action. Global and Local, from the Rey Juan Carlos University, will tell us about the term “Climate Justice".
Shivani Lopez, URJC graduate and Master's student in Sustainable Societies and Social Change at the University of Jönköping, Sweden. She has experience dealing with the issue of climate change and democracy thanks to her collaboration with the WFD in the campaign "12 months, 1 question" (12 months, 1 question). Her intervention will deal with “The environmentalist intersectionality”.

Both round tables will include the participation of Fernando Silva, head of the Research section at the URJC University Library.
The format will be online through the TEAMS platform and will last one hour. The events will start at 12.00.
