Presentation

The Casa Vital University Microcredential: Organization and Balance of Life Areas provides practical, evidence-based training focused on understanding how different areas of life (work, family, relationships, self-care, leisure, and personal projects) are distributed and how this organization influences well-being. The program enables participants to identify imbalances between priorities and daily activities and to design personal reorganization strategies tailored to their individual circumstances. It integrates contributions from role theory, narrative identity, and value-based contextual models, with an applied, rather than clinical, approach.

Objectives

  • Understanding how the different areas of life are organized and how they influence well-being.
  • Analyze the personal distribution of responsibilities and priorities.
  • Identify potential imbalances between values ​​and everyday actions.
  • Design a personal priority reorganization plan adapted to individual circumstances.

Program

Module 1. How we organize the areas of our life: fundamentals of the Casa Vital model (0,5 ECTS)

Introduction to the Casa Vital model and the concepts of life areas, priorities, and personal balance.

Module 2. The main areas of life and their current distribution (1 ECTS)

Identifying life areas and creating a personal map of priorities.

Module 3. Identifying imbalances and conflicts between life areas (0,75 ECTS)

Analysis of possible overloads, oversights, or tensions between different responsibilities.

Module 4. Designing a personal plan for reorganizing priorities (0,75 ECTS)

Development of a practical plan for adjusting and improving personal balance.

External internships: Not included in the program.

Final Degree Project: Not applicable.

Selection criteria

If the number of places is exceeded:

Suitability of the academic or professional profile to the content of the program (40%).

Motivation demonstrated through a letter of interest (30%).

Previous experience related to the application areas of the model (20%).

Additional training linked to personal or professional development (10%).

The start of the course is subject to the minimum number (10) of enrolled students.

Students with a degree obtained from a Spanish university or a Higher Education Institution belonging to another Member State of the European Higher Education Area that provides access to continuing education courses must submit the following documentation:

Microcredentials, intended for students with or without a previous official university degree.

These courses allow for the certification of learning results linked to short-term training activities. Their duration must, in any case, be less than 15 ECTS credits. Successful completion of these courses through the corresponding assessment tests will entitle the student, where appropriate, to obtain a Certificate with the name of the respective course and will be included in the centralised Register of this type of qualification. In the event that they do not include assessment tests, a certificate of attendance will be obtained.
