Presentation
The Rey Juan Carlos University's Microcredential in Equality Agent offers specialized training aimed at equipping professionals with the skills to design, implement, and evaluate equality policies and measures in public and private organizations. The program responds to the growing regulatory demands regarding equal treatment, equality plans, and the prevention of discrimination, providing up-to-date and highly practical training.
Through a fully virtual and flexible methodology, students will acquire skills to develop diagnoses, design equality plans, implement anti-harassment protocols, incorporate a gender perspective into organizations, and understand the national and European legal framework. The training combines theoretical content, practical case studies, and applied activities that facilitate the acquisition of professional skills immediately transferable to the workplace.
This micro-credential is aimed at university graduates and professionals interested in developing their activity in the field of equality, human resources, public administrations, consulting, social organizations and people management, contributing to the fulfillment of the Sustainable Development Goals, especially those related to gender equality, decent work and the reduction of inequalities.
Objectives
Equality officers are responsible for diagnosing and analyzing situations of discrimination and inequality, as well as designing and evaluating public policies to promote effective equality between women and men.
Specific objectives:
- Interpreting gender equality by understanding its scope within the Spanish legal system
- Interpreting the regulatory framework
- Discriminate the profile of the Equality Agent and areas of action
- Design and establish tools for the prevention of sexist violence
- To contrast co-responsibility and the reconciliation of work, family and personal life

Access requirements:
The microcredential is primarily aimed at university graduates in:
- Law School
- Labor Relations and HR
- Social Work
- Business Administration, Economics or related fields
Selection criteria:
- Professional experience and proven knowledge of labor law and social security (40%)
- Academic record (30%)
- Experience in collective bargaining or union negotiations (20%)
- Other merits (10%)

Location: Virtual Classroom and MS Teams
Schedule: The sessions will be broadcast live on Thursdays, lasting 2 hours per session, starting at 17:00 PM. However, live attendance is not mandatory, as all sessions will be recorded and available in the Virtual Classroom for the entire duration of the course.
In this way, students can access the content at any time, review the sessions as many times as they need and progress at their own pace, facilitating the reconciliation with other professional or academic activities.

The documentation that you will have to submit is the following:
Students with a degree obtained from a Spanish university or a Higher Education Institution belonging to another Member State of the European Higher Education Area that provides access to continuing education courses must submit the following documentation:
- National Identity Document or equivalent
- University degree of the studies that give access to the requested postgraduate degree.
- Curriculum vitae
- Responsible declaration of veracity of the data provided in digital format
- Any other document required by the Academic Department of Continuing Education for acceptance.
Students with foreign qualifications must submit the following documentation:
- Passport or Residence Card
- Foreign Higher Education Degree (Graduate, Bachelor's Degree, Architect, Engineer, Doctor...) that gives access to continuing education studies.
- Curriculum vitae
- Responsible declaration of veracity of the data provided in digital format
- Any other document required by the Academic Department of Continuing Education for acceptance
Microcredentials, intended for students with or without a previous official university degree.
These courses allow for the certification of learning results linked to short-term training activities. Their duration must, in any case, be less than 15 ECTS credits. Successful completion of these courses through the corresponding assessment tests will entitle the student, where appropriate, to obtain a Certificate with the name of the respective course and will be included in the centralised Register of this type of qualification. In the event that they do not include assessment tests, a certificate of attendance will be obtained.
