Disney Cultural Program

New Paid internship program at Walt Disney World Resort, Florida, USA, for students and recent graduates of any degree of the URJC.

These internships are not recognized as external academic internships nor can they be formalized from the External Internship Unit.

The selection of candidates is carried out by representatives of Disney, after the interview they will carry out on February 21, 2024.

Application period: From November 20 to 30, 2023.

Students must complete the following within the established term  electronic form

Requirements to participate in the program:

  • Be a URJC student or recent graduate of the URJC (maximum one year after graduating) at the time of applying.
  • Be 18 years old at the time of applying.
  • Have passed a minimum of 30 credits for undergraduate students at the time of applying.
  • Have an upper-intermediate level of English language by providing an official certificate (minimum B2).

Program Date: From June 3 to August 29, 2024 (3 summer months).

Location: Walt Disney World Resort, Florida, USA.

Remuneration: Minimum of $16.00 USD per internship hour / minimum 30 hours per week.

If selected, the candidate must confirm their desire to participate so that the VISA-J-1 procedures can begin.

Management of the J1 American Visa by Disney.

Program Costs:

  • Participants must bear the fees to apply for the J-1 Student Visa (SEVIS) $35 USD (approx) and the visa fees $185 USD (approx) to be paid at the American Embassy, ​​non-refundable.
  • The program participation fee is $442 USD (this one-time, non-refundable fee includes):
    • Activities and Fees ($240 USD): Helps support the administration, events and scheduled activities at the housing complex throughout the program.
    • Lodging Fee ($202 USD): A portion of this amount will be applied to the participant's lodging cost during the first week of the program.
  • Accommodation costs
  • Free transportation within Disney
  • Mandatory medical insurance to be paid before the start of the program.
  • Round trip to the USA.

If you are selected, you must provide the Certificate of no criminal record along with a copy of your passport.

The Presentation of the DISNEY CULTURAL Program by DISNEY will take place on Wednesday February 21th 2024, at 9 a.m. in the Aula Magna (Room 203) of the Móstoles Campus and later the interviews will be carried out in English with those preselected by Disney, in meeting rooms 144 and 145 of the Departmental Building I in accordance with the pre-established schedule.

The presentation is open to anyone interested and attendance is mandatory so that candidates can be interviewed.
