Basic Information
Presentation
The Pilates method has proven its effectiveness in the physical conditioning of the human being and in addressing certain disorders of the musculoskeletal system based on postural correction and global work of the entire body through muscle contractions and stretching. It also has a notable psychosomatic component, improving the well-being of the individual. Due to the positive benefits it brings, it is increasingly in demand in society and it is for all this that the training of students in this method is necessary.
Objectives
- Train the student in the mastery and use of the Pilates Method as a tool for improving health, through the intrinsic physical activity component that it entails.
- Train the student in the use of the Pilates Method for the prevention and improvement of certain alterations of the musculoskeletal system.
