SCHOOL ACCIDENT
ACTION IN THE FACE OF ACCIDENTS DURING ACADEMIC ACTIVITY
MODALITY A.
Accidents that occur during (or on the way to or from, what is known as “in itinere”) unpaid academic/training/external internships, both curricular and (See HERE the Bachelor's or Master's degree subjects that are eligible for this modality), as extracurricular, subject to the application of the fifty-second additional provision of the “Modification of the consolidated text of the General Social Security Law, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 8/2015, of October 30”.
In this case, the way of acting may present slight variations. For example, If the accident is of a biological nature and the hospital performs the first tests on the student or the source, you must inform the hospital that you have School Insurance. Therefore, in addition to contacting FREMAP, you must request the School Insurance benefit to cover the costs of these first tests. You can consult the various variants in the following DIAGRAM, where you will find interactive links (hover over them) to activate the accident protocol, and the link to activate school insurance (if necessary).
MODALITY B.
Accidents that occur within the University facilities, or during the performance of activities directly or indirectly related to the student's status, including sports, cultural, or leisure activities (or equally, on the way to or from the University), provided that these activities have been organized by the Rey Juan Carlos University, and are unrelated to the performance of the academic/training/external internships referred to in Modality A.
