Basic Information
Presentation
The University Extension Course “International Relations, Global World and European Union” addresses issues related to the current geopolitical situation in the world, both from a general perspective through International Relations and from the perspective of its national protagonists.
Objectives
The objective of the course “International Relations, Global World and European Union” is to address areas of knowledge and specific subjects not included in the basic training plans of the University for Seniors, thus providing a broader academic offering. The course content covers four subjects which, in a cross-disciplinary manner and taught by specialists in their fields, promote learning and understanding from a historical perspective of various topics not typically included in general educational programs. Therefore, the main objectives are:
- Develop topics that are rarely covered in general programs.
- Relationship between transversal aspects in History and their projection in the present.
- Respond to the demands of the University for Seniors students on these specific topics.
