What is the promotion plan? This is a plan for promote sport at the Rey Juan Carlos University. It outlines the objectives of the plan, which include increasing theoretical and practical training in sports for members of the university community, promoting sports at all levels and provide support to high-level athletes to balance their academic and athletic efforts. General FAQ
Can I get RAC credits for being federated?
No, credits are only granted for sports activities within the university environment or for being a DAN or DAR athlete.
How do I sign up for a URJC team to participate in the Madrid university championships?
During the month of September, level tests are called to join the teams. The information is communicated via email, on the sports website and on the Sports Service's social networks.
What options do I have if I have missed the registration deadline for team sports?
You can send us an email and if there is a place available on the team you are requesting, we will notify you.
Can I reserve courts or sports facilities to go with my friends?
Clear! It is available to the entire URJC community, even external users. You can do it through the website or through the URJC APP.
What are discounts for external sports activities?
Reduced prices based on agreements that the Sports Service considers important for the URJC university community, both in sports facilities and in activities in our environment.
Frequently asked questions internal links
What are internal leagues?
If you want to play your favorite sport with your friends once a week in a university environment, this is the option. Form your own teams and we will take care of the format, facilities, material, etc. Registration carries a fee.
What are internal league committees?
These are the day-by-day incident lists in which sanctions against teams are recorded according to current regulations.
What happens if I can't attend an internal league game?
If you do not attend an internal league match, you would incur a team failure, loss of the match, a -1 point penalty and a warning that the second failure would result in expulsion from the league, with a penalty for all team members in the match. next year in all internal leagues.
How long do internal leagues last?
It is usually held between the months of October and April.
