Presentation
There is currently a great demand for training in the field of Sports Sciences, linked to the practice of sports professions. The development of scientific knowledge applied to football is increasingly relevant in the scientific field, due to the possibility of providing empirical knowledge to coaches, in the process of planning and optimizing training and competition.
This Course responds to the need to update the training of football coaches, with the appropriate knowledge and technical profile, in order to respond effectively to the current demands of the professional football sports system.
Objectives
The purpose of the Course is to offer coaches knowledge of the latest developments in science applied to football, as well as to update coaches and professionals in the technical knowledge of football, from a novel approach, based on the Paradigm of Complexity, to be able to provide the coach with the ability to interpret collective behaviour, diagnose what is happening from a complex perspective, detect action trends and be able to generate a training process and technical intervention that optimizes sports performance
Program
Module 1 – Game model and complexity sciences
This module addresses the scientific foundations of football, from the Complexity Paradigm, based on the interaction of the components that determine performance in sport (technical, tactical, physiological and behavioral).
Contents:
- Evolution and current trends in the game of soccer
- Analysis and development of the game model
Module 2 – Talent detection and competition analysis
Module 2 deals with the scientific bases that determine the processes of selection, recruitment and detection of sports talents, through the review of the tests and instruments used by coaches in the training categories. The second part of the module focuses on soccer tactical analysis models to optimize sports performance.

Module 3 - Analysis of the football context
This module addresses the teaching and training of other forms of football, such as futsal, beach soccer and soccer-7. The evolution of arbitration in recent years and the use of new technologies for the analysis of football are analyzed.

Module 4 - Leadership and team management
This module studies the management processes of sports groups, sports psychological variables, sports coaching and the coach's teaching skills to manage their leadership within the team.

- Management of the sports group and competencies of the coach
- Communication resources and strategies
Module 5 - Training optimization and methodological direction
Module 5 deals with the study of the football teaching methodology in the training categories and the teaching skills of the coaches, during the didactic intervention. Likewise, the models of sports expertise and the processes to achieve sports excellence are analyzed.

The course is aimed at
- Soccer Coaches with Federative Diploma level I, II or III.
- Graduates / Graduates in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences, with a football federation degree.

Higher University Course of Soccer Coach. Team Management and Methodology

The start of the course is conditioned to the minimum number of students enrolled.
Documentation to attach, forms and place of delivery
the applicants they will present all the scanned documentation, in the formats allowed through the telematic self-registration application at the time of applying for admission to own degrees. They must compulsorily attach to their request the declaration of the person responsible for the veracity of the data provided in digital format.
At any time, both the Program Management and the Own Teaching Service may request the applicants to submit said certified/collated documentation through the General Registry, located on the Móstoles Campus, or in any of the registries assistants located in the different campuses of the Rey Juan Carlos University, or by sending it through Certified Mail to: Rey Juan Carlos University. Students with a degree obtained from a Spanish university or a Higher Education Institution belonging to another Member State of the European Higher Education Area that authorizes access to own postgraduate degrees must present the following documentation:
- National Identity Document or equivalent
- University degree of the studies that give access to the requested postgraduate degree.
- Curriculum vitae
- Responsible declaration of veracity of the data provided in digital format
- Any other document that the Director of the Own Title specifically requires for its acceptance
Students with a foreign degree must present the following documentation:
- Passport or Residence Card
- Foreign Higher Education Degree (Graduate, Graduate, Architect, Engineer Doctor...) that give access to own postgraduate degree studies.
- Certificate certifying that the studies carried out give access to an Official Postgraduate Degree in your country of origin, issued by the University of origin
- Curriculum vitae
- Declaration of the person responsible for the veracity of the data provided in digital format
- Any other document that the Director of the Own Title specifically requires for its acceptance
Applicants with studies completed in foreign University Centers may be requested at any time a certificate of verification of these studies and centers, issued by an authorized Institution.
All documentation provided must be legalized in accordance with Spanish law and translated by an official translator.
