EULiST holds its first Global Conference at the Aranjuez campus of the Rey Juan Carlos University.

On November 20 and 21, the San Carlos Hospital on the Aranjuez campus will host the first Global Conference of the university alliance EULiST (European Universities Linking Society and Technology), entitled "Co-creating Sustainable Solutions for Climate-Resilient Societies."

The conference will focus on the co-creation of sustainable solutions to address the challenges of climate change and promote more resilient societies. This international gathering provides a unique opportunity to exchange knowledge, experiences, and ideas in an environment committed to sustainability and social innovation.

The scientific committee has the call is open for the presentation of papers in three of the scheduled sessions. Interested parties should follow the instructions indicated in each Call for Papers and send your proposals including in copy to : 

  • Call Paralell Session 3: Urban Resilience and Climate Neutrality, with four topics: Adaptive buildings and infrastructures, Urban circularity and transformation (re-use, circular processes, transformative governance), Digitalisation and AI for urban change (responsive solutions for smart climate cities), and The societal dimension of urban transformation (ensuring sustainable and inclusive communities).
  • Call Parallel Session 4: Information and Society, with two topics: Building knowledge in collaborations between academia and industry for sustainable development, and Building knowledge for sustainable practices in collaborations between universities, funding agencies and NGOs within and beyond the EU.
