The Faculty of Arts and Humanities participates in the URJC Open Day

Last Friday, May 26 and Saturday, May 27, the Faculty of Arts and Humanities participated in the reception activities for future students organized by the University Information and Orientation Service (SiOU) of the URJC

On Friday, several professors and students of the Faculty made guided visits to two of the campuses where the teaching of the different Degrees and Double Degrees of the Faculty where they showed future students and their families the facilities and services they have. The professors Amaya Matesanz (Architectural Graphic Expression area) and Miguel Ángel Calvo (Architectural Construction area) made a visit to campus of Fuenlabrada, while the professors Pablo Prieto and María Luisa Walliser (Architectural Graphic Expression area) and student Úrsula Úbeda (Degree in Fashion Design and Management) they took care of the Aranjuez campus.

On the other hand, Saturday was celebrated in the Mostoles campus la Open Day, in which the Faculty participated with its own stand informative, where those interested could come to ask about the various degrees offered at the Faculty and resolve their doubts. The professors Félix Labrador (Modern History area), Víctor Acevedo (General Linguistics area) and Helena Domínguez (Ancient History area), Together with student Úrsula Úbeda They were in charge of caring for students and families. Likewise, they were in charge of showing the various activities and projects of several of the areas of the different degrees of the Faculty, thanks to the loan of works (posters, models and artistic creations) by teachers and students; the student Úrsula Úbeda contributed her own fashion creations.1685462685056 copy

For its part, it had the collaboration of the Professor Irene Salinero and the researcher of the Faculty Pedro Antonio Suárez (Program Investigo) which, together with the student Adriana Mazuelas made a visit to the interested parties to the archeology laboratory from the Mostoles campus. A visit to the Simultaneous Interpretation/Translation Laboratory for those interested in taking the Degree in Translation and Interpreting. 

Both the visit to the campus and the day on Saturday were very well received by the attendees and aroused great interest. From the Faculty we convey our congratulations to both organizers and collaborators and we hope that the participants could obtain a clear idea of ​​the wide possibilities that the URJC offers in the various fields of the Arts and Humanities.
