The director of the Scientific Culture and Innovation Unit, Carmen García Galera, and the Technical Coordinator of the Scientific Culture and Innovation Unit, Irene Vega Barberán, conveyed the importance of promoting vocation in science.
Professors Israel González and César Bernal presented their research at the Office of Animal-Assisted Intervention.
Patricia Sánchez-Herrera, Coordinator of the Unit for Attention to People with Disabilities and Special Educational Needs, had the opportunity to present the activities carried out in the Unit.
Along the same lines, professors Estefanía Martín, Fernando Martínez and María Zapata explained their educational innovation project COTEDI (Computational Thinking Education for Diversity and Inclusion).
On Tuesday, March 24, the EULIST delegates from Jönköping University (Camilla Norén, Marica Larsson, and Tomas Aldeborg) visited the FCEDEI at the Fuenlabrada campus. The Academic Secretary, Alberto Hernando, and the Vice-Dean of Culture and Communication, Inmaculada Cobos, presented the faculty, highlighting its undergraduate and master's programs, research groups, facilities, and more.
Next, in the working session on Inclusive Education, offered by professors José Luis López Bastias and Rosa Espada Chavarría, teaching experiences, ideas and projects in this educational field were shared.
In the session “Language Teaching“The professors from the Department of Foreign Philology, Translation and Interpreting, María Luisa Blanco, Mario Ruiz, Adrián Izquierdo and Manuel Macías spoke about their innovation projects and collaborated with their colleagues from Jönköping University, also sharing various educational challenges.
On March 25th, a live class was visited, taught by professors Manuel Macías and Marina Piñero.
In addition to the working days and meetings between professors and researchers, the FCEDEI organized several guided tours of facilities on the Fuenlabrada campus: library, hangar and sports facilities and research centers.
