One more year, the Language and Literature Didactics Area of the URJC, represented by Professor Nuria Anaya, co-organized this event with the UCM, aimed primarily at students of the Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Education from both institutions. And, again, for the third time in a row, a student from our University has won one of the awards. This is the student Elba Niella Moreno, from the Degree in Primary Education in Fuenlabrada (morning shift), who managed to win the highest award in the individual reading category. To attend the final phase, in which she competed with five other readers, she opted for the version of “The Three Little Pigs,” contained in the work. Tales in verse for wicked children, by Roald Dahl, in its Spanish edition. As a mandatory text, he had to recite the poem “They say the plants don't speak” by Rosalía de Castro by lottery.
The jury was unanimous and Elba received, apart from his accreditation diploma, a batch of gift books provided by the sponsors of this contest, which this year were the Spanish Association of Friends of Children's and Youth Books and the publishers Edebé and Nivola.
Congratulations to the winner.
