La Faculty of Economics and Business Sciences of the Rey Juan Carlos University announces with great satisfaction that Jesús Sánchez, one of the most renowned chefs in contemporary Spanish gastronomy, is sponsoring the first graduating class of the Bachelor's Degree in GastronomyThis gesture is a true gift to our university community and a milestone in the history of the degree.

Jesús Sánchez is chef and owner of Cenador de Amós (Villaverde de Pontones, Cantabria), distinguished restaurant with three Michelin stars and one Green StarThis award recognizes his commitment to sustainability, the land, and local produce. With over three decades of experience, Sánchez has established himself as a key figure in international haute cuisine, distinguished by a gastronomic approach that combines technical excellence, local identity, and innovation.

Her career has been recognized with numerous national and international awards, and her influence transcends the restaurant industry, actively contributing to the contemporary debate on sustainability, gastronomic culture and the future of the sector.
