Pioneering research on eating habits and technology with the participation of Professor Ana Luisa Reyes Menéndez

The teacher Ana Luisa Reyes MenéndezProfessor of Marketing and Market Research at the Faculty of Economics and Business Sciences (FCEE) of the Rey Juan Carlos University, has participated in the research “The science of what is cooking in the kitchen”, a pioneering study that analyzes the eating habits, the use of technology and the emotions of Spaniards around the table.

The study, presented on February 24 in Madrid, is the result of a collaboration between IKEA, the Spanish Society of Neurology (SEN) and CYBEROBN, and combines the analysis of consumer behavior with the evaluation of brain response in different contexts of food preparation and consumption.
 
Professor Reyes Menéndez's participation has been developed in collaboration with the FCEE and through the use of scientific equipment of the future Laboratory of Neuroscience Applied to Economics and Business of the FacultyA specialized academic infrastructure that will be officially operational in the spring of this year. This laboratory will allow for the consolidation of interdisciplinary lines of research in consumer behavior, neuroscience, and data analysis applied to economics and business.
 
The FCEE's contribution to this project reinforces the Faculty's commitment to applied research, knowledge transfer, and collaboration with institutions and companies, positioning Rey Juan Carlos University as a benchmark in the scientific study of behavior in economic and social contexts.
