The FCEE-URJC hosts the "Auditor for a Day" event to introduce the profession to students

In collaboration with the Madrid branch of the ICJCE, professionals shared challenges in technology and sustainability auditing, as well as in-demand profiles.

 
 
On March 5th, the conference was held at the Faculty of Economics and Business. “Auditor for a day”This activity was aimed at students in business and economics-related degree programs. The event was organized by professors Mónica Santos Cebrián, Rocío Flores, Alicia Ferradas, and Vera Gelashvili, with the goal of introducing the auditing profession to the university environment.
The event was held in collaboration with Madrid branch of the Institute of Sworn Auditors of Accounts of Spain (ICJCE), inside the program University AuditThis initiative seeks to strengthen ties between the academic and professional worlds. During the session, various professionals from the sector shared their experiences and explained the role of auditing as profession of public interestas well as the main challenges it faces in areas such as technology and sustainability.
Furthermore, the students learned about the most in-demand skills and profiles in the sector, as well as guidance on entering the profession and developing a career in auditing. The activity generated great interest among the attendees and provided an opportunity for direct contact with industry professionals.
