La Faculty of Economics and Business Sciences (FCEE) of the URJC, participated on May 23 and 24, 2024, in the 43rd Spanish Conference of Deans of Economics and Business (CONFEDE) and the First Ibero-American Council of Deans of Economic and Business Sciences of Universities (CONIDECE) hosted by the University of Malaga. These events brought together leading academics and economists to discuss and share perspectives on economics and business education.
Representing our faculty, the dean attended Mr. Miguel Cuerdo Mir contributing his experience in topics of importance for the evolution of teaching in Economics and Business. The conference was attended by Deans of faculties in Economics and Business Sciences of the main Ibero-American universities, with illustrious references of the current economy such as, Mr. Daniel Lacalle, Valentín Pinch (General Council of Economists), representatives of the Bank of Spain, the CNMV, the General Council of Economists or the Ministry of Economy, Finance and European Funds.
The conference was also attended by the director of the Faculty Evaluation Division of ANECA, Ms. Susana Quicios, who spoke about “The New Accreditation Procedure for University Professors.”
The 43rd CONFEDE focused on innovation, the internationalization of programs and the adaptation of curricula to the demands of the labor market. The First CONIDECE, for its part, brought together representatives of Ibero-American universities to promote academic cooperation and the exchange of knowledge.
The participation of our faculty in these events demonstrates our commitment to academic excellence and the continuous improvement of our programs.
