The Rey Juan Carlos University (URJC) is once again joining Madrid's Science and Innovation Week, which in its twenty-fourth edition will be held from November 4 to 17, 2024. This event seeks to highlight the work of the scientific community and bring advances in research and development closer to society, in a format that is accessible and attractive to all audiences.
In this edition, the URJC has prepared an extensive programme with 177 activities, including workshops, exhibitions, seminars, guided tours, games and escape rooms. Professors from the Faculty of Economics and Business Sciences will organise several seminars where relevant topics of applied research in economics and business will be addressed. The event is coordinated by the Vice-Rectorate for Research, Innovation and Knowledge Transfer through the Scientific Culture and Innovation Unit (UCC+I), and has the collaboration of the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT).
This week, the eleventh Tooth Collection Campaign of the Ratón Pérez, promoted by the National Centre for Research on Human Evolution (CENIEH), will also be held. Donations of deciduous teeth will take place on 6, 7, 13 and 14 November at the University Clinic on the Alcorcón Campus, and will be used for important comparative studies in the field of dentistry and paleoanthropology.
The Faculty of Economics and Business Sciences is participating by organizing a series of activities by some of its professors.
