Cristina Figueroa Domecq, Professor of the Faculty of Economics and Business Sciences at the Rey Juan Carlos University, among the 150 most influential professionals in the tourism sector in Spain

The Faculty of Economics and Business Sciences (FCDE) of the Rey Juan Carlos University (URJC) celebrates the recognition granted to the Professor Cristina Figueroa Domecq, who has been included in the prestigious list of 150 Most Influential Professionals in the Tourism Sector in Spain (2024) (to access), prepared by the consulting firm SERGESTUR.

This distinction, which has established itself as a benchmark in the national tourism sector, highlights leaders who, through their effort and commitment, have promoted innovation, competitiveness and the development of one of the key sectors of the Spanish economy, tourism. Cristina Figueroa Domeneq has been recognized for her academic career and her contribution in areas such as tourism sustainability, destination management and responsible tourism, areas in which she has demonstrated a solid commitment to excellence and innovation.

The list, compiled in its sixth edition, highlights the human talent associated with the tourism sector and its ability to adapt in a context of constant transformation.
