Madrid, July 15 of 2024 – The Faculty of Legal and Political Sciences of the Rey Juan Carlos University (URJC) celebrates with great pride the recent publications of the cutoff marks of the Community of Madrid, which have confirmed the very high academic level of our programs. Among the degrees with the highest cut-off marks are the Double Degree in "Law and International Relations" with a score of 13,554, the Double Degree in "Law and International Relations" in English with a score of 13,428, and the Double Degree in "Criminology and Law" at the Vicálvaro campus with a grade of 12,852.
These results reflect the commitment and dedication of our Faculty, our professors and our students in the constant search for academic excellence.
The Dean of the Faculty, Professor of Commercial Law, María Enciso Alonso-Muñumer, who assumed the position in January 2023, has expressed her satisfaction and pride in these achievements. "Since my arrival, my only objective has been to pursue excellence in both teaching and research. We have worked tirelessly to enhance public-private collaboration and offer a very high quality service to our students. The university must be a true social elevator, and at the Faculty of Legal and Political Sciences of the URJC we are committed to providing our students with all the necessary tools to achieve their professional and personal goals," stated the Dean.
Under his leadership, the Faculty has undergone a notable transformation, standing out for the implementation of innovative programs and for attracting influential personalities from both the public and private sectors. This collaboration has enriched the training of our students, providing them with a comprehensive and practical vision of the legal and political reality.
Dean Enciso Alonso-Muñumer also highlighted the importance of having a highly qualified and motivated teaching staff, which has been fundamental to achieving these levels of excellence. "Our professors are not only experts in their respective areas, but they are also deeply committed to the training of our students. They are the pillars on which our Faculty is based," she added.
In addition, students have demonstrated an extraordinary level of commitment and dedication, actively participating in research projects, conferences and extracurricular activities that complement their academic training. This joint effort has allowed our programs to not only be maintained, but to exceed expectations of quality and academic rigor.
