Presentation

This Specialization Diploma is Valid for visas and stays for studies with automatic work authorization, in accordance with the new Immigration Regulations that came into force on May 20, 2025, approved by Royal Decree 1155/2024. It is aimed at professionals seeking to work as employees or self-employed workers in centers, offices, businesses, and administrative or commercial departments of any type of company or entity, whether private or public, across all productive sectors. It focuses on business creation and is specifically aimed at the Ibero-American population seeking to invest in Spain and seeking to understand the productive, cultural, and social environment in which they wish to integrate.

Programme

Module I: (Complementary with CUE 4391)

Institutions, administrative services, accounting, customer relations, and public and private management (20 ECTS/200 Hrs)

  1. Legal and social institutions of Spain and the European Union
  2. Basic Accounting for the Spanish company

  4. Computer Data Processing and Office Automation
  5. Administrative Techniques and Management
  6. Basic Occupational Risk Prevention Course
  7. Mediation and client relations

Module II: New business projects and contemporary administrative institutions in Spain (19 ECTS/190 Hrs)

  1. Administrative and political institutions of Spain and the European Union
  2. Accounting and finance for new business projects
  3. Cultural integration, heritage and citizenship in Spain
  4. Innovation Management and Business Plan
  5. Entrepreneurship and Purpose-Driven Business Creation
  6. Fundamentals of Labor Relations in SMEs
  7. Advanced Management Leadership Techniques
  8. External Internships I

Module III: Management of small and medium-sized Spanish companies in a globalized environment (19 ECTS/190 Hrs)

  1. Fundamentals of International, Regional and Subregional Economic Institutions
  2. Spanish tax regime
  3. Heritage management and cultural industries in Spain with an emphasis on the city of Madrid
  4. Artificial Intelligence and Data Analysis for Decision Making
  5. Leadership and Management of Multicultural Teams
  6. Application of Occupational Risk Prevention in SMEs
  7. Psychology of Entrepreneurship
  8. External Internships II

The three modules are not sequential; therefore, students can begin the Specialist degree with any of the modules with the authorization to open enrollment, keeping in mind that students must complete all three modules to successfully complete the program. Therefore, and taking into account the modular structure of the degree, three enrollment periods are planned for the Specialization in Administrative and Institutional Management: Entrepreneurship, Transformation, and Business Leadership, in accordance with the scheduled start dates for each module.

Recipients

This MECES level 3 training program is aimed at students with a previous university degree. Those enrolled in a Bachelor's or Double Degree program who have yet to complete a maximum of 30 ECTS credits from an official Spanish university degree and whose profile matches the legally established functions in the corresponding field will be eligible for conditional admission.

In this case, no type of certification will be obtained until it is proven that one is in possession of the official university degree required for access to postgraduate education.

Exceptionally, applicants without a prior official university degree that demonstrates work experience in this field may also be eligible for these professional studies. In this case, applicants may only opt for a diploma or university extension certificate with the same name and number of credits as this degree, in accordance with the equivalence table included in Annex I of the Regulations for Specialized Studies at Rey Juan Carlos University. * A university degree (bachelor's or bachelor's degree) is required to access both Master's and Expert and Specialist courses. However, on some occasions the possibility is considered for people without a previous university degree but who can demonstrate professional experience related to the subject of the course to access it.

This possibility must be included in the corresponding academic report and will be subject in all cases to the decision of the Course Director. People who access through this route will only receive a Diploma or a Certificate of University Extension depending on the case.
