Title: Quality and non-intrusive measures for the Evaluation and Energy Optimization of Existing Buildings with Advanced Construction Elements
In the aforementioned project, several wireless sensor networks (WSN) were designed, deployed and monitored using prototypes developed in the same laboratory, of wireless motes.
The installation and verification of wireless devices has been carried out in the reference building. Installation Completed on 22/04/2017.
The first deployment was carried out in Almería, specifically in the LECE of the Solar Platform located in the Tabernas desert. 5 nodes and a total of 10 temperature sensors were deployed. Both air and surface. This deployment was carried out as a first pilot test. The objective of this test was to detect deficiencies in the system, as well as to analyze the quality of the measurements using PT100 probes. Some of the sensors were placed next to other sensors previously installed by the CIEMAT, while others were placed in new positions to measure the temperature gradient.
The installation and verification of wireless devices has been carried out in building 70 of the CIEMAT. Installation Completed and data logging started on 8/12/2017
This deployment was carried out in Building-70 and was larger than that of the LECE Almería. A total of 17 nodes and 37 sensors were deployed in different rooms: laboratories, offices, meeting rooms... of a building that is monitored by cable at the CIEMAT facilities in Madrid.
15 Hall effect sensors,
8 air temperature sensors,
2 window temperature sensors,
10 CO2 sensors
2 relative humidity sensors.

- Magnetic switch (Hall effect sensor) RS-Amidata
- Vaisala Capacitive Humidity Sensor
- Interferometer Based Device (CO2 Sensor) Vaisala
The installation and verification of wireless devices has been carried out in the building of the "El Arroyo Specialty Center" in Fuenlabrada
In this installation, 17 nodes and X sensors were deployed:
17 air temperature sensors, 3 CO2 sensors and 9 relative humidity sensors.

- Vaisala Capacitive Humidity Sensor
- Interferometer Based Device (CO2 Sensor) Vaisala
Due to availability problems of the building and equipment, the deployment in the "El Arroyo" Specialty Center was completed almost at the end of the last year of the project, 2018.
Likewise, the installation of a meteorological station with CIEMAT equipment was also carried out in the laboratory building III of the Fuenlabrada campus of the URJC. This station allows obtaining data that will be of great interest in the analysis of the deployments carried out, especially that of the Specialty Center located in the municipality where the station was installed.
The data recorded both in the displays and in the weather station are stored in a MySQL database. This database is hosted on one of the university's servers. It stores information related to all the equipment used: nodes, sensors, etc; as well as the recorded measurements. Likewise, two auxiliary services are developed for the representation of the data. On the one hand, a web page was enabled that allows seeing the measurements of all the deployments in real time. A service was also developed that collects daily the last 24 hours of measurements in CSV and hosts them on a second website enabled for this purpose that allows the groups involved in this project: CIEMAT & URJC; share data.
