Basic Information

Introduction

The Data Engineering Specialist program is designed to train highly trained professionals in the handling, management and analysis of large volumes of data. In today's digital age, the ability to extract valuable insights from complex data is essential for strategic decision making and developing innovative solutions across various industries. The demand for professionals trained in data management and handling has increased significantly in recent years. This program offers students the skills necessary to work in the technology and analytics industry. The program encourages curiosity about using data to solve complex problems. Students learn about the latest trends and advances in data engineering, gaining a broad and up-to-date perspective on the field.

Objectives

Develop skills to extract information from complex data sets, supporting decision making and improving organizational processes. Teach agile and reproducible methodologies that facilitate knowledge transfer between data engineering team members.

Creation of advanced computing systems that allow large volumes of data to be stored and processed dynamically, combining different resources such as distributed systems or cloud platforms.

Innovative solutions: Data stream processing allows analysis results to be continuously updated in highly dynamic environments.

Latest technologies: Choice of Apache Spark as the reference development environment, in addition to Hadoop and other cutting-edge technological products.

Scalability and reliability: Construction of computing systems capable of satisfying variable levels of demand, maximizing the performance of resource use.
