Presentation
The Data Science Specialist program responds to social and professional demand in the labor market and the growing relevance of data science in decision making and solution development in various industries. The digital age has generated a large amount of data that requires management, analysis and interpretation to obtain valuable information and make informed decisions. The demand for professionals trained in data management has increased significantly in recent years. This program offers students the skills necessary to work in the technology industry and analytics, including data mining, artificial intelligence and machine learning. In addition, it allows you to understand how data can improve business efficiency and profitability. The program fosters curiosity about using data to solve complex problems and improve quality of life. Students learn about the latest trends and advances in data science, gaining a broad and up-to-date perspective.
Objectives
Train to extract information from complex data sets, supporting decision making, improving organizational processes and revealing valuable knowledge for development and innovation.
Teach agile and reproducible methodologies that facilitate knowledge transfer between data science team members.
Train in the use of reference languages in the sector such as Python, R and Scala, to implement the most advanced statistical analysis techniques. Instruct in the use of more effective data visualization techniques to communicate the results of the analysis at different levels of detail.

The specific degrees that will facilitate direct access are the following:
- Degree in Mathematics
- Degree in Statistics
- Degree in Computer Engineering
- Degree in Software Engineering
- Degree in Computer Engineering other related degrees.
In addition, students with a degree in Computer or Industrial Engineering, Technical Engineer in Computer Science and Management, Technical Engineer in Computer Systems, Telecommunications Engineer, Industrial Organization, Graduates in Mathematics, Statistics, Economic Sciences, Administration and Management will be considered. Companies and studies related to those mentioned.
Students enrolled in a Bachelor's or Double Degree who have a maximum of 30 ECTS credits of an official university degree in Spain whose profile matches the functions legally provided for in the corresponding field will be able to access conditionally. In this case, no type of certification will be obtained until it is proven that one has the official university degree required to access postgraduate education.
Exceptionally, they will also be able to access these professional studies without a previous official university degree that certifies work experience in this field. In this case, they will only be eligible for a diploma or a university extension certificate with the same name and number of credits as this Title, in accordance with the equivalence table included in Annex I of the Own Teaching Regulations of the Rey Juan University. Pre-registration: €250. This amount is included in the total cost of the course and will be returned if your academic request is not accepted. If, once the student's application has been admitted, the enrollment is not formalized, the amount deposited for pre-enrolment will not be returned.

Students with a degree obtained from a Spanish university or a Higher Education Institution belonging to another Member State of the European Higher Education Area that provides access to continuing education courses must submit the following documentation:
- National Identity Document or equivalent
- University Degree of the studies that give you access to the requested postgraduate degree. *
- Curriculum vitae
- Responsible declaration of veracity of the data provided in digital format
- Any other document required by the Academic Department of Continuing Education for acceptance.
Students with foreign qualifications must submit the following documentation:
- Passport or Residence Card
- Foreign Higher Education Degree (Graduate, Bachelor's Degree, Architect, Engineer, Doctor...) that gives access to continuing education studies. *
- Curriculum vitae
- Responsible declaration of veracity of the data provided in digital format
- Any other document required by the Academic Department of Continuing Education for acceptance
* A university degree (bachelor's or bachelor's degree) is required to access both Master's and Expert and Specialist courses. However, on some occasions the possibility is considered for people without a previous university degree but who can demonstrate professional experience related to the subject of the course to access it.
This possibility must be included in the corresponding academic report and will be subject in all cases to the decision of the Course Director. People who access through this route will only receive a Diploma or a Certificate of University Extension depending on the case.
