Presentation

The online Master's Degree in Continuing Education in Foreign Trade aims to provide students with a global socio-economic and political vision of the international trade situation, facilitating their analysis of the different characteristics of the international business environment.

This course will analyze and study in depth the international market and the steps to take in identifying and attracting countries that offer business opportunities, strategically planning trade policies. It will also examine the importance of international trade and investment flows to emerging markets for the Spanish economy and its companies.

To this end, the Master's program will be jointly offered by Rey Juan Carlos University and the Business Training Institute of the Madrid Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services. This will provide students with a comprehensive academic and business perspective.

Objectives

The objectives of the online Master's Degree in Continuing Education in Foreign Trade are based on the student acquiring the following knowledge and skills:

  • The techniques, tools and skills necessary to run an international company.
  • Commercial structures and distribution channels to establish strategies for both participation and penetration in target markets.
  • The necessary legal, administrative, financial and tax procedures, both at origin and at destination, for the international transaction of products subject to international marketing.
  • The documents (commercial, administrative, customs, tax, financial, etc.) necessary to carry out an international transaction.
  • The different types of aid for the internationalization of companies that can be accessed.

Recipients

Entry profile and access requirements: This course is aimed at students with a prior university degree. Specifically, it is intended for graduates, senior engineers or technicians and equivalent qualifications, university diploma holders, and students of advanced vocational training, in both cases with accredited professional experience of three years or more.

Exceptionally, those without a prior official university degree may also access these professional studies if they can demonstrate work experience in this field or in a field related to the master's program. In this case, they may only be eligible for a diploma or university extension certificate with the same name and number of credits as this degree, in accordance with the equivalency table included in the Annex I of the Own Teaching Regulations of the Rey Juan Carlos University.

Selection criteria: In the event that the number of applications exceeds the number of places offered, a selection will be made based on the following criteria in each quota (ordinary and disability or victims of terrorism or gender violence):

  1. Higher education related to the sector (30%)
  2. Professional experience in the sector (40%)
  3. Knowledge of languages ​​(30%)

The Quality Assurance System of the Rey Juan Carlos University establishes that the degree's Quality Assurance Commission will annually analyze the information derived from the degree's indicators and prepare a report that will include improvement plans if the results so indicate.

Possibility of scholarship (if applicable):

Pre-registration: 500 €. This amount is included in the total cost of the course and will be refunded if your academic application is not accepted. If, once the student's application has been accepted, he or she does not register, the amount deposited as a pre-registration fee will not be refunded.

The start of the course is subject to the minimum number of enrolled students.
