The activities took place between June 23 and July 4 at the university's various locations, with special emphasis on the Aranjuez campus, which hosted the majority of the program.

Professor Cristina del Prado, director of the courses, gave a very positive assessment of the results of this edition:

"We've increased the number of seminars, practically doubling last year's offerings. More than 1.550 students have enrolled, not only Spanish students but also students of other nationalities, with particular representation from Latin America, thus consolidating our university's position as a showcase for its presence in other latitudes."

The content was highly diverse and addressed highly topical issues, such as the conflict in Gaza, artificial intelligence, and clean energy, with monographs dedicated to green hydrogen and efficient waste management. Other disciplines, such as art, communication, and health sciences, also had a prominent place in this edition. The seminar dedicated to chronic pain has been held for twelve consecutive years, demonstrating the need to continue exploring this complex condition. Others have begun with great success, such as the course on stage attire or the one dedicated to sculpture with new ecological materials.

Figures such as musicians Miguel Poveda and Miguel Ríos, Colombian investigative journalist Gerardo Reyes, and the Japanese ambassador to Spain, Takahiro Nakamae, have passed through the URJC classrooms over the past two weeks, alongside renowned politicians, researchers, and professionals.

"Starting Monday, we'll start working on next year's edition, to improve ourselves for the next academic year," Del Prado announced.

With a diverse offering and an open approach to debate and participation, the URJC Summer Courses have once again established themselves as one of the most relevant training initiatives during the university summer period in Spain. All seminars were free and recognized with ECTS credits. To facilitate attendance, the university has made more than 200 scholarships for accommodation and meals available to students, as a demonstration of its social commitment to access to public education and equal opportunities.
