The URJC once again stands out for its transparency. The good news, this time, comes from the report issued by the HAZ Foundation. The University has obtained 61 points out of a possible 62, passing all 31 evaluation criteria.

The URJC fully complies with 30 of them and partially with one, specifically that of 'Compliance Manager', belonging to the new evaluation area of the ranking, 'Social Council, Ethics and Compliance' which, "in this first edition that is analyzed, no university complies with it," indicate HAZ.

The results of the URJC, according to HAZ, “are equivalent to the transparency seal for universities in the 't for transparent ***' category, the maximum.” The indicator referring to the 'Compliance Officer' identifies the person responsible or unit for strict compliance with the law, as well as their powers and hierarchical dependence (in the case of public universities, dependence on the Social Council).

The Rey Juan Carlos University shares the top step of the transparency podium in Spain with the universities of Alicante, Cantabria, Huelva, Jaén, Valladolid and Vigo.

The HAZ Foundation ranking analyses a total of 75 public and private universities from all over Spain.

It identifies the person responsible or compliance unit, as well as their powers and hierarchical dependence (in the case of public universities, dependence on the Social Council).
