The Journalism, Political Science and Public Management student from the URJC was the central figure of the literary event held within the framework of the cycle 'Plazas and Patios for Poetry'The event took place in the city of Archidona, province of Málaga.

The event took place in the Patio Jardín on Salazar Street, also known as "Don José Muñoz's garden," a private enclave open to the public for the first time. The event is part of the 17th edition of the cultural program, promoted by the Archidona City Council and municipal library, which this year revolves around the figure of Antonio Machado.

María Luisa Muñoz, a native of Archidona, has a solid career in the literary field. She has been awarded first prize in the local Ochavada Short Story competition eight times, as well as in the “City of Archidona” poetry competitionsHe has also participated in cultural projects such as the documentary Bosch and Poetry and has received training in the Andalusian Center of Letters.

Her presentation was introduced by Soledad Nuevo Ábalos, municipal librarian, who highlighted her potential as a young creative. The audience enjoyed a selection of texts read by the student, who offered a youthful and committed perspective within the framework of the tribute to Machado.

The event also featured the participation of Juan de Dios Torres Aguilar, a member of the local Reading Club, and young reader Edurne Valverde Martín, from Soria. Municipal officials, including Mayor Juan Manuel Almohalla and Councilor for Culture Pablo Garrido, highlighted the involvement of the public and the symbolic value of the setting where the event was held.
